Agritourism

Fancy finding out where your food comes from and how it gets to your fruitbowl?

You’re in luck! We love tell the farm-to-fruitbowl story.

We host a limited number of tours of the Moora Citrus orchard and the Northern Valley Packers packshed in Bindoon throughout the season. As they’re both working properties and biosecurity is our highest priority, we only host groups that have been pre-arranged – plus we’ll make sure the kettle is on!

Whether you’re a school group, tourist group, farming group or anything in between, we can host a tour or either or both properties, depending on your needs. We suggest allowing no less than 1.5hrs for a tour and can provide citrus-themed (of course!) morning or afternoon tea as well. It’s about an hour drive to Bindoon north of Perth and then another hour north to Moora.

Indicative costs for a tour of either property:

  • Tour only: $10 per person
  • Tour and morning or afternoon tea: $25 per person.

Regardless of which package is chosen, each visitor will receive freshly picked fruit to take home in a eco-friendly calico bag. And if it’s out of citrus season, we’ve got an alternative little take home gift.

If you’re keen to come and visit either or both Moora Citrus and/or Northern Valley Packers, please provide responses to the following questions:

If you are a school group or farming group, we can discuss pricing options for educational tours.

Safety and biosecurity information will be provided to all groups visiting the orchard or packshed.
